the image guy is a Lugano-based studio founded in 2019 by Swiss-Italian visual artist and architect Matteo Venezian. Operating under his alter ego, Matteo creates commissioned digital images across architecture, design, fashion, and urban planning. With a diploma from the Accademia di architettura in Mendrisio, his background combines rigorous architectural training with an artistic sensibility rooted in both Swiss precision and Mediterranean influence. Located in Switzerland’s Italian-speaking region, the image guy benefits from the cultural and architectural richness of Lugano - a city known for innovation and elegance. Matteo’s work has been published widely, exhibited at institutions including the m.a.x. museo in Chiasso, and he has contributed as a guest critic at the Mendrisio Academy of Architecture. More than just renderings, his images are crafted visual statements - carefully composed using digital tools to convey atmosphere, story, and emotion. As a boutique studio, the image guy offers a highly personal and refined approach to visualization, producing distinctive imagery for both local and international clients.
